Punky Brewster - Checking Off All The Boxes

This week is all about America's favorite little orphan! No, not Annie. It's the one and only Punky Brewster! Did you grow up with this show? Rolando and Nicole certainly didn't but Eddie Z is the show's fiercest defender and helps explain why kids loved it. Does the show's wholesomeness stand the test of time?

Then, Soleil Moon Frye reprises the role that made her a child star in 2021's Peacock original, "Punky Brewster." Nicole comes swinging while Eddie Z bobs and weaves. Did the revival abandon the free-spirit that won over hearts in the 80's and maker her too "normal?"
